Announcements Module

Personally the announcement module is one of the best and most versatile modules on our  platform.
From basic news and links to, complex showcases and tickers, the announcement module is an essential tool in the usability and findability of your website.

I will try to explain the announcement module in two parts.

Part one will explain the usability of the Announcements module , including modules settings, where to use it and  using to compliment your website.

Part Two will showcase some of the  announcement modules that we have configured to suit our clients needs.

Contact Lydia for a quote to customise your announcements module on your site!
(although this is a standard module on our platform, additional work on styling will be charged at an hourly rate.)

But first the description:
The announcement module is used as a short "teaser" to link users to other pages on your site. It allows the use of images, links and descriptive text.

Part One:

The standard announcement module:
As per the description above this is mostly used as a "teaser" to guide users to other pages on your web site. The module, at the basic setting is a powerful tool to keep users on your site and inform them of new content, pages and important news.

Elements within the Announcements module are as follows:
1. Publish Date
2. Image Source
3. Announcement Titles
4. Short Description
5. Read More Link

Part Two:

The show case section as is, with any software cannot be made to do the impossible. But it is a very powerful and very style-able  module.
As a designer for our platform I try to always include the announcements module on most home pages and as sub links on content pages.

Here are some examples.
