| What is the purpose of the module? |
You can bring specific pieces of content such as new products or services to your website visitor’s attention. The module will normally introduce something, with a read more link to the page, file or website on which the rest of the information is. |
| What are the key benefits of the module? |
- The announcements module will make it easier for you to introduce or announce a number of topics on one page with click thoughts to other pages. This makes it easier for your website visitor to scan through a lot of information, to find what they are looking for and to click through to the page where there is more content about the topic he or she is interested in
- This module can be used to effectively bring the most important pages on your website to the website visitor’s attention

| What type of pages would normally have the module? |
- Home and Intermediate pages: This module is ideal for pages on which you need to introduce a number of topics to help website visitors find and get to the content they are interested in
- Content and Landing pages: If you have a large number of similar pages, you could use the Announcement module to introduce the related pages

| Where on a page would a client expect to find this module? |
Left Pane or Right Pane. Most website visitors will be used to finding links on the side of a website. However this module can selectively be used in the Content Pane of a page. |
| What key settings does the module have? |
- You can create multiple templates that change the display of the announcements module. E.g. you can have one template for products, another for services and a third for articles

If you put too much content on any page, it will prevent your website visitor to see or notice the most important messages on that page. Modules such as the Announcement module makes it easy for a person to scan through a page and to click through to the content they want to read more about.
Important pages, such as your home page, are limited in how much content it can effectively convey to the website visitor. It is therefore important to use modules such as the Announcements module to introduce a number of topics (e.g. articles, product reviews, or services) and then to link to those pages that can tell your website visitor more
