| What is the purpose of the module? |
Blogs are designed to get browsers with similar interests in a virtual area to discuss a topic. A blog is what can be described as an entry level ‘community’ tool. You can use a Blog to start a discussion by writing about a selected topic on a regular basis. Blog visitors will then give feedback (posts) on what you have written as well as on other posts. |
| What are the key benefits of the module? |
- It is a great tool to get similar minded people in one ‘room’
- Those giving feedback is incentivised by being able to give their point of view
- Although the Blogger gives some control to the ‘community’ the Blogger can screen through all posts before it appear on the Blog
